I have used the ultimate boot cd for taking images off cps before upgrading them from w2k to xp but i still dont understand the make up of boot disks ive looked at the folders and what the disk contains but it makes no sense to me. Anyway i think ive got my point across and like i said any help would be appreciated , THANKS IN ADVANCE

You're looking to create a live environment using Vista OS from a CD??? Why??? In any case, you might be best querying UBCD4WIN forums:

No worries. However, I would strongly advise against using Vista as a Live CD (XP is more than sufficient, not to mention, smaller by comparison). Again, UBCD4WIN uses such a set up to achieve what you're looking for.
