Ultimate Boot CD

I turn on the laptop with the cd inside. it comes up with the menu and i chose any of the shortcuts, for example F1 then chose any program, lets say. CPU Burn in (F2)

then a blank screen comes up with the following:

Is this normal? Does anyone know what to do? is there something wrong with the ultimate boot disk?

Does the same thing happen for all apps? If all you have tried was the CPU Burn then the processor may not be supported. Please let us know if it is all apps and what your configuration and such. We need more data to assist you. I know the disk works for me...

Yeah, the message shows up for all the applications. What should happen. as soon as i select the program should it show up? maybe i need to re-burn the disk or re download it. have you got any other ideas?

If you select the app, it should launch then and there. Susch as with Memtest, it launches the tester and starts testing then and there. Did you modify the disk at all? Did you do a straight burn from the iso to your disk?

what i downloaded had a black and white icon with a 7 and a z. this is not an iso and wouldnt show up in the nero. so i extracted all the files, and i believe it kept it in that one iso. so i burnt that. and i thought it worked. did i burn the wrong file? when i found the ultimate boot cd site, i downloaded it from limewire, because i have a dialup and i couldnt download a file that big from the ultimate boot cd site. should i try and download a different one?

Sounds like you maybe have a bad disk then. I would suggest either getting the official torrent off of the download page or use flashget or another download manager to download it from one of the sites. You don't have to get the full version... That will save you some download time.
