Are you joking ?

There are links, on the Image pictures... just scroll the page down a little and move your mouse over one of them ^^

 I am not kidding.
Those piccies of drives relate to individual folders - or so it appears.
Does this mean that one needs to foot-slog through each stage and choose every one manually?
Thanks for your response.

Some lead to torrent files, others to web pages, others to (self-extracting) archives, some may lead to folders as you say (so what ? you can browse them and find the files, can't you ? ) ... you just have to make your choice.

 Ah. So "Ultimate Boot CD" does not refer to an object, rather to a concept.
Well well what a fool I have been.
Thank you.

 Oh. BTW, what does that link (in pink) on the left side (as all pinks) menu refer to when it is titled "Download UBCD"?
Perhaps it means "Download for your custom UBCD".

Huh ? ... Ultimate Boot CD is not just a concept Image

As its name implies it's a bootable CD image you have to burn before you can use it, but for speed reasons it's being distributed in several shapes (as i've mentionned above).
You just have to choose one to download it Image.

Then you should be able to extract it from its archive and burn it ... though if you were not able to understand it by yourself, i'm not sure you'll be able to make a good use of it

Hmmm... So we get down to the personal ...
This person happens to be a mensa member .... and still doesn't get it.
It lists 3 versions of the disc (Basic etc) but nowhere is there a link to such a file with that number of KB's [140; 83; 94].

It appears that I may have stumbled into a little private club here and haven't learnt your language yet.

Incidentally when I went to college torrent was a reference to liquids; what does it mean here in this little (big?) club? And while we are at it: what is the "mirrors" here? Lewis Carrol?

In fact I am interested in understanding all this - even if it means submitting to Gaullic superiority.

The UBCD ISO image is available through a long list of mirror sites, shown here.

If you really must have a direct download link, here it is:

http://www.planetmirror.com/pub/ubcd/3. ... -basic.exe
http://www.planetmirror.com/pub/ubcd/3. ... 4-full.exe

These are hosted by the first mirror site on the list, PlanetMirror.
