Default Settings

First time user of UBD and, yes it's great !!
I've read how to change the IBD, but would like to know how I can change some of the default settings :
- the 3 second delay
- the default keybaord layout
- the "workgroup" default
- and maybe others
Is a description available somewhere, or can someone help me out ?
