Hi there,

Would you tell me if I can use UBCD to get my Administrator Password, please?

I cannot boot into Windows XP and get this message: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

I insert my Windows cd in order to do a repair but it asks for the Administrator password which I don't have.

I've inserted the UBCD but don't see anything on the menu which refers to password re-setting.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

UBCD includes, among other similar tools, a program named "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor".

Be aware that if you have encription software, you need to recover (not delete) the password, or you wont be able to gain access to Windows.
