I have the drivers for my new SATA primary hard drive but Windows install doesn't allow me to install from a CD, it requires a floppy, and I don't have a floppy drive. Can I install control card drivers from UBCD? (because I can't install Windows without them) If so, how? I have two CD drives, and have the drivers on a CD so I could run UBCD from one drive with driver CD on the other, but I could put the drivers on UBCD if necessary.

Detailed instructions, please, I'm a novice, so assume I know ZILCH and understand even less!

Nope, don't think you can do that with UBCD.

Yeah, I know it's a real pain in the ass with custom storage drivers. I once had to do it on a machine with RAID drives, and it ain't pretty.

You only hope might be for someone to help you slipstream the device drivers into the Windows installation CD.
