Hi
I want to start the UBCD with NTFS support. But during boot I always get the following error messages:
Error: Out of memory while processing cabinet file wget.cab
Error: Out of memory while processing cabinet file Autorun3.cab

Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be??
Thanks for any support!

Hello :)
Just in case ... how much memory does the system you're running UBCD on have ?
And which options did you start with ?
Did you make your own boot floppy image added to UBCD ?

Hi Constance,
the system I use has 1GB RAM and 240GB HDD space. I did not add any floppy images to the UBCD. I just use the original version of UBCD I downloaded from the web. When I deactivate the option "NTFS Support" during boot of the UBCD, the boot procedure will be successful.
Any idea?

Well I suppose the extractor can't find enough conventionnal memory to run (maybe there is no high memory manager loaded, and then previous commands to load some other programs to upper memory just fail)... but yet I can't see which options you chose from the menu (which menu items do you select with the function keys ? ).

Try a different memory manager when FreeDOS first boots up. That might help with the conventional memory situation.

I tried a different memory manager and it works now! :D
Thanks to all for the support!
