Using/Testing UBCD?

I have paid for the instructions on CD, just received it and followed the directions and have sucesfully burned the image [ISO] file to CD, how can I "safely" test this CD on my main pc to see how it works please? Meaning, I'd like to see my pc boot directly from the cd and then run some utilities without doing any damage to my system?

Typically, this involves:

1. Putting the CD into your CDROM drive.
2. Reboot the PC.
3. Bring up BIOS config and confirm it will try booting from your CDROM drive first (before HDD).
4. Continue booting.

If all goes well, you should see the UBCD menu on your monitor.
