I noticed these are two different programs, any significance in their differences? Is UBCDWin dedicated for windows as it suggest, and UBCD for all platforms

I had a virus problem few months back which forced the PC to restart itself, by using safe mode i could at least run AVG scan to remove the virus. Now this is something else, the PC doesn't even logon to windows, it restarts just before loading the Desktop or Windows Logon screen.. I tried safe mode...

After booting to UBCD, i inserted my 1G usb cause i want to install AVG free... But this flash is not detected. Is this normal under UBCD?
