NetExtreme II drivers for Bart's boot disk

#1 Post by kustner » Wed Oct 25, 2006 11:10 am

We have used Bart's book disk for years, including its incorporation into UltimateBootCD going back to at least 2.21.

UltimateBootCD 3.4 handles the NetExtreme drivers (B57) but not the NetExtreme II drivers. If someone has a .CAB file for this NIC that I could roll into a Bart vignette, I would be grateful. I have seen others on the Internet struggling with attempts to use the drivers in a boot disk scenario.

I am simply looking for something I can roll into a diskette the old Bart style (.CAB file in NDIS directory.

Thanks for any help.

TK

You may want to take this conversation to the UBCD4win forums at www.ubcd4win.com This forum is for the DOS based UltimatebootCD while the ubcd4win site is for the Barts PE XP Live site.

I don't mind posting it in there, but there are part of Bart's code in the UltimateBootCd, which is why I posted it here originally. I have never used UBCD4win.

I did not realize this and thusly my apologies for the misinformation. When you mentioned barts in your post it threw me off. Many people come to this forum seeking assistance with the UBCD4Win. Since this disk is DOS based I was unaware that there was any NIC drivers on it... That again threw me back to UBCD4Win.
