I thought if I orderd the ultimate boot cd that I could just run it and it would install and fix whatever I needed. I need to install SP2 on this computer that I'm cleaning up for my daughter but I have to slipstream it to the XP disc?
When that dialog box comes up it asks me where the SP is located and I have no clue. Could someone direct me please? I've looked in the tutorials and I'm just not finding what I think I need.

You mean , You think that the ultimate boot CD is going to install into your computer and fix it...?

NO , It dosen't work that way...
I need to install SP2 on this computer
So.? , Can you just not use windows update...? , Because that's how you install Service Pack 2...
but I have to slipstream it to the XP disc
SlipStream what..? Service Pack 2..? - You mean include SP2 in your original XP install disk , you can't...

You can download SP2 and burn it to a blank disk... :D

Right on the first page of the disc, Ben says "autostreamer is provided if you need to slipstream SP2 to your XP disc. I have the SP2 file included just in case you do not have it. I'm guessing since you couldn't handle the UBD4Windows download I highly doubt you could download that 266Mg file"
So, I assume that it can be done. I just can't find the SP2 on the disc that I bought from him. I don't know in which file it lives, because when you bring up autostreamer it askes for the source location, which would be my E CD drive, then it asks for the exact location of the SP, which I can't find. Then it asks for a temporary file location. I can't get beyond the first screen. If anyone has the disc, perhaps they might be able to help me.
My 2nd question is this: Is this a different forum than the one that's on IE? I'm accessing this through Moziila and it looks entirely different than it does on IE.

I think you are referring to the UBCD for Windows project.
