Newbie Help (formatting HDD)

#1 Post by marky » Fri Apr 27, 2007 7:41 am

Hi All,
Can you help, please??
What I would like to do is remove XP from an old machine and install ME. This machine doesn't have a floppy on it and I haven't got a clue ( ) what to do. Can UBCD help? I've tried format command in DOS but no luck.

Sorry to be a royal pain in the A**e
Cheers

Hello there ^^
Just run Free FDISK , remove the partition(s) and create one (or several) FAT32 ones.

You still need the WinME CD to install WinME though.
