No desktop after booting from ISO

I'm using MS's Virytual PC for testing my ISO. Boots fine, but no start menu? Anyone has a clue why?

There's no reason why you should have a start menu. This is not a Windows based CD.

Please. We know we are not booting into the actual Windows Shell. It's a Windows environment.

No, there is no Windows environment in UBCD ~~
Maybe you're talking about UBCD4Win, but then you should go here : ubcd4win.com/forum/.
