You can't run chkdisk from ubcd.
You need a Windows install CD or a Windows recovery CD.

You could boot the Avira NTFS4DOS boot disk. There's an option there to run chkdsk. You get the equiv of a chkdsk /f. Its fixed a few machines I know of where windows wouldn't boot.
